One of the many gifts from Mother Nature to support our health and wellbeing is flower essences. During our time on this life journey we all travel, we come at sometime on our journey to discover the full realisation that energy is the life force on this planet of ours and of which Mother Nature is a part and to which we all belong. Life is energy and energy is life. It is quite simple once we understand that everything is energy and everything has a purpose, from the smallest and simplest forms through to the most intricate, each one has its part to play in the interconnected energy of life. We can look at the beauty of flowers and plants admiring the colour the shape and sometimes their delicious perfume. Some are healers, some provide nutrition, some nourish the air we breathe while others feed the soil where future seedlings will grow strong and healthily for our benefit.
In the main Mother Natures gifts cannot be examined in a scientific way, with a scientific approach, it just wont work, how can science explain or even look into why we feel elated at seeing such beauty in nature, why the smell of rose perfume lifts our mood, lifts our energy, our vibrations. Everyone feels better by the sea, or out in the green of nature, these natural uplifting experiences are sadly and somewhat crushed by modern architecture. Mankind is not meant to live in square boxes in high rises, rooms that hold energy rather than let it breathe and move freely and circulate. Some houses are also culprits of stagnating energy and tend to hold energy. When I help people using my gifts and dowsing expertise, it is possible to get the dull energy moving once more in their homes to help alleviate their distress and to support their healing. This can be done from a distance or a visit. Our home must be our safe place our serene sanctuary, our restful, healthy and happy place away from the ups and downs of life.
From the earliest times there are many varying written records highlighting the use of flowers and flower essences, sharing how to use flowers as a healing tool that is effective such as freshly picked flowers and greenery placed directly onto the skin as a soothing and antibacterial balm, dried flowers crushed into hot water as a herbal drink to strengthen and to purify. So many different ways and applications were used over the centuries, some were good ,others questionable, but finally mankind got there and there were men who brought flower essences to the masses. Dr Edward Bach and Edgar Cayce, just two who have left a legacy of healing to help us all.
Edgar Cayce known as a prophet and as a psychic who went under a self induced sleep thousands of times to help many thousands of people. Born in 1877 died in 1945, born on a Kentucky farm, Edgar became known as one of the greatest and most respected clairvoyants of our time.
He is known for his groundbreaking psychic perceptions in the areas of healing, dreams, nutrition, health, reincarnation, religion, and extrasensory perception.
Dr Edward Bach, A proud Welshman born in 1886 died 1936
"A dawn of a new and better art of healing is upon us"
A medical doctor, homeopath, bacteriologist and spiritual psychic.
Diagnosed with cancer in 1917 and given only 3 months to live, he went on and lived for a further 19 years , then died soon after his work was complete, some say through exhaustion.
Dr Bach developed 38 flower essences, each one targeting different emotional states, When he developed and created his first batch of flower essences he the took bottles of the flower essences with a leaflet explaining what they were and how to use them into town and gave them away freely to people, the next day when he went into town he was distraught to see his bottles and leaflets strewn around the streets.
He said then that he learnt his first big lesson, people will not value anything given freely. From then on he charged and never again saw bottles or leaflets thrown aside.
Dr Bach Rescue Rememdy is the best selling flower essence in the word today, it contains 5 of the 38 remedies
A remedy for all emergencies, . A must have for everyone's first aid cupboard. To be taken when under stress, panic, fearful, anxious and when feeling low , numb and despondent, Rescue Remedy helps the mind and emotions to reset, to rebalance, to calm and the body to breathe .................to strengthen the emotional body allowing the physical body to alleviate the mental anguish. Allowing the bodies own healing process to start without delay. Obviously it does not replace nor take the place of medical attention, rather, it is complementary too, in a supporting role. Animals and plants can also benefit from Rescue Remedy.
Allegedly, Dr Bach's first use of Rescue Remedy was when he gave it to a fisherman, a survivor of a shipwreck, the fisherman was carried up the beach unconcious with lips turning blue, Bach quickly when into action and moistened his lips with the Rescue Remedy he was carrying, rubbed plenty behind his ears and on his wrists, repeating this a few more times, the fisherman soon regained conciousness and asked for a ciggy!
Trees, plants and flowers truly are our friends and helpers, and with so many natural ways to help support our healing for ourselves and our loved ones, They are our sacred friends.
To extract a flowers energy to help yourself first pick a fresh flower at its prime, one that looks vibrant and full of colour, not with faded colour or brown petals anywhere on its head. Place the flower head, head down if possible, into a clear glass bowl full of pure water, into water that has been filtered. Then place the bowl in sunlight for approximately 3 hours. The sunlight energy helps transfer the flower energy into the water. By the flower being in the water will transfer some energy, the sunlight will boost this process ensuring the flowers life force is transferred in its entirety, this is called infusion.
Flower essences are created from the vibrational essence of the flower, the flowers subtle energy is transferred, infused into the water for healing usage. The water is then placed in an alcoholic base, for those who do not wish to use alcohol, organic apple cider vinegar can be used, plus other pure bases. I am not willing to share amounts here as my understanding, having worked creating flower essences, each amount is different for each flower and therefore the time spent in the sunlight also differs. My advice is to please seek professional advice, training or use Dr Bach flower remedies, there is ample information on each one out there to guide your choices. And there are also many other flower essences on the market, do look into each one and then choose what feels right for you and your loved ones.
Mother Natures gifts are there to be rediscovered and to be used, with the many changes coming up in the future we may have to look again at how we can help ourselves. To revisit

Mother Earths bounty to help us heal ourselves and to support us on our journey through some difficult times.
These are my thoughts and opinions, please do your own research.
